Dhanush got national award for best actor (film ‘Aadukalam’).

These crazy lyrics were penned down by Dhanush. Most of the lyrics are in English, so anyone can understand it easily. It is a song of a boy who has been rejected by a girl. As the lyrics suggests, it is a SOUP SONG (literally meaning failure in Love). While Kolaveri Di means murderous rage. Dhanush has not only penned lyrics but also sung it himself. The music is scored by debutant music composer Anirudh Ravichander.

This song has created a rage among youth, not only in Southern part but in North India also. It is a buzzing topic on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Recurring news of the Youtube post of the song reaching milestones, Amitabh Bachchan tweeting about it, people going crazy either in favor or being critic of the song. Well perhaps, this can be supported by one reason. I am living in Chennai and listen to same accent everyday so obviously find familiarity with it. A kind of insane or stupid song but definitely catchy. I am listening to it without applying too much mind.
